Summertime and the listening is easy…the cool sound of jazz is back on the menu as Jazzy Brunch returns to Londa’s Caprice restaurant on 6th May with Latvian vocalist Evilena Protektor and The Leonid Nesterov Trio.
Brace yourself for a summer blast of smooth jazz whilst savouring the delicious lunchtime buffet at Londa’s Caprice restaurant, when the hotel hosts its spring Jazz brunch on Sunday 6th May.
The Caprice’s cool Italian styled interior, flanked by the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, provide the perfect backdrop for sultry singing sensation, the sensual and expressive Latvian ‘rising star’, Evilena Protektor; she is already causing a buzz on the international music scene with her unique voice, a hypnotic synthesis of pure jazz, funk and mesmerising vocal harmonies.
Evilena will be performing songs from her new musical programme with jazz trio, Leonid Nesterov, piano, Andreas Rodosthenous, bass and Andreas Stefanou, drums; her talented trio are respected virtuoso jazz instrumentalists in their own right. Nesterov began his music career at the tender age of 8 in his home town of Indra, Latvia and regularly performs on the European jazz circuit; Andreas Rodosthenous and Andreas Stefanou, graduates of Rotterdam Conservatory, are two of Cyprus’ most renowned home grown talents; a new generation of jazz musicians who have travelled Europe extensively, performing with celebrated stars including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitas and Anna Ellis de Jong.
