This year, the Limassol Wine Festival will begin with an opening ceremony which features the official opening of the gates by the president of Cyprus, Mr Demetris Christofias. The annual Limassol Wine Festival opens on Thursday, 8th September at 8pm and is open every evening until the 18th. With support from the four biggest wine producers in Cyprus, the Limassol Wine Festival also features smaller, independent vineyards, giving you the chance to sample all different kinds of delicious Cyprus wines. Among the program of entertainment is a performance by the Limassol Philharmonic Orchestra and Costas Makedonas and the Giorgalletos Choir. For attendees who are not staying in our luxury hotel, Cyprus hospitality shows itself in the form of free transportation to the wine festival, provided by the Limassol public transport company EMEL.
