Guitar virtuoso Artur Akhmetov and Leonid Nesterov Trio in concert at the Londa Hotel Limassol on Saturday January 28th
The 2017 Jazz series takes off at the Londa Beach Hotel in Limassol with the incredible guitar player Artur Akhmetov alongside the acclaimed Leonid Nesterov Trio. Having enticed full houses to the award-winning Caprice restaurant throughout last year, the renowned Londa Jazz series, continues to host local and international audiences at the contemporary and chic boutique style of the Londa and promises an extra touch of elegance in 2017.
Artur Akhmetov is a young talented jazz guitar player from Russia, who lives and performs in Europe and the United States. Artur studied at the Music College in Ufa, and thereafter attended the Conservatory in Moscow. He also attended the Conservatory in Amsterdam, and went on an exchange program at Temple University in Philadelphia (USA) where he studied guitar and composition. He then enrolled at the master program ‘New York comes to Groningen’ at the Prins Claus Conservatory. Artur recorded his album “Somewhere on the other side of the world” featuring David Berkman, Boris Kozlov, Gianni Gagliardi, Cory Cox and Adrian Moring.
Leonid Nesterov found his musical calling in Latvia and moved to Limassol in 2010 to pursue his career. He performs with many talented musicians around Cyprus, sharing his passion for Jazz and also performs with various musicians from the Baltic States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia and Israel.
Nicolas Tryphonos studied electric bass at Nakas Conservatory in Athens, at the Conservatories of Amsterdam and Utrecht where he graduated in Jazz double bass. He is an active musician in Cyprus’ flourishing music scene and often travels to The Netherlands to play.
Andreas Stephanou graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory and is one of Cyprus’ most recognized musical talents of a new generation of Jazz musicians. He travels extensively to perform with celebrated artists including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitasb and Anna Ellis de Jong.
The musicians will perform at the Caprice’s cool Italian styled interior, which offers stunning sea views on January 28th . The audience will enjoy vibrant Jazz sounds, coupled with a five-star service.

The concert will start at 17:00 at the Londa’s Caprice Restaurant on Saturday, January 28th.
Ticket Price – 20 euro per person including a welcome drink (children 6-12 years €10). Snacks and drinks menu will be available.
