Jazz series continues at the Londa Beach Hotel

The Londa Beach Hotel continues its autumn series of jazz concerts on October 18 with a new quartet featuring Leonid Nesterov on the piano, Konstantin Safyanov, saxophone and flute virtuoso, Alexey Rislvasky, double bass and bass guitarist and Andreas Stefanou, drummer.

Having enticed crowds of jazz fans to the Londa’s award-winning Caprice restaurant all summer, the smooth jazz sounds coupled with the Londa’s chic boutique ambience, form the idyllic setting for cooler evenings by the sea.

The Musicians:
Konstantin Safyanov, is one of the best saxophonists in Russia, and is an active participant of Russian and international jazz events. He has participated in various jazz festivals around the world, including Umbria Jazz (Italy), Vadso Jazz Festival (Norway), Belsko-Byala Jazz (Poland) as well as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Boston Symphony Hall in the USA.

Alexey Rislavsky, is a notable double bass player from Russia. A jazz and pop bass player, he has participated in various jazz, rock and pop ensembles. Alexey has performed on jazz stages in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and other countries.

Leonid Nesterov began his music career in Latvia and has been living in Limassol since 2010. He performs with different musicians around Cyprus sharing his passion for jazz with a diverse group of musicians from the Baltic States, Cyprus, Russia and Israel.

Andreas Stephanou graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory and is one of Cyprus’ most renowned musical talents of a new generation of jazz musicians. He travels extensively to perform with celebrated artists including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitas and Anna Ellis de Jong.
