LONDA BEACH HOTEL SWEEPS PRESTIGIOUS WORLD TRAVEL AWARD AS
CYPRUS’ LEADING BOUTIQUE HOTEL 2015
With 30 years of recurring excellence in quality and personalized service, the chic and sophisticated Londa Beach Hotel has been bestowed with the prestigious international World Travel Awards (WTA) as Cyprus’ Leading Boutique Hotel 2015. This is the ninth year in a row that the Londa receives a WTA, testimony that it is undeniably the discerning visitor’s favoured destination.
Representing Londa’s management company, Columbia Hotels & Resorts Ltd, Mr. Stelios Kizis, received the awards for both the Londa and Columbia Beach Resort. Attended by prominent figures in the leisure industry as well as international media, the awards were presented in a glamorous red-carpet gala ceremony at the Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy on September 5.
The WTA are presented to leisure industry paragons for their attention to detail and continual improvement, with votes cast by travel and tourism professionals worldwide. Innovation and improvement form the core elements of the Londa Hotel- a luxurious property, offering sophisticated luxury with contemporary trendy touches of comfort and elegance. Inventive services such as an application, which was launched this year to serve the hotel’s guests as a digital concierge, coupled with Londa’s bespoke personalized service, augment the reputation which Londa is renowned for. This summer, the Londa also introduced another application www.pressreader.com , which enables hotel guests to download, free of charge, international publications from a selection of over 4,000 titles.

World Travel Awards were launched in 1993. Now celebrating their 22nd anniversary, the Awards are regarded as the highest achievement any travel product can receive in this globally demanding sector, with the brand ‘recognized globally as the hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.’ Votes are cast by over 220,000 travel professionals, including travel agencies, tour and transport companies and tourism organizations. Since 2009, voting has also been opened to the public to reflect the growing role that WTA plays in influencing how people make their travel purchasing decisions.
