Announcing a unique Jazz collaboration in Caprice Restaurant at Londa Hotel Limassol on Sunday 9 November.
The autumn series of Jazz concerts continues at Londa Beach Hotel in Limassol with a new Jazz сcollaboration featuring Cyprus Jazz Musician Leonid Nesterov, notable Russian Jazz Double Bass and Bass Guitar Player, Alexey Rislvasky, and Andreas Stefanou. Having enticed full houses all summer to the award-winning Caprice restaurant, the smooth sounds of Jazz and the contemporary ambience of Londa’s chic boutique styling, create the perfect combination for a Sunday musical event.
Leonid Nesterov began his music career in Latvia and has lived in Limassol since 2010; he plays with different musicians around Cyprus sharing his passion for Jazz and performing with various musicians from the Baltic States, Cyprus, Russia and Israel.
Alexey Rislavsky is the notable double bass player from Moscow (Russia). Born in 1976, from a young age he played various instruments, focusing mainly on bass guitar and after some time, the double bass. In his teenage years he started performing in Jazz, blues and rock bands. Alexey completed his formal musical study at one of the best Russian musical institutes, at Gnesin Academy, with teachers Igor Brill and Alexander Oseichuk, living legends of Russian Jazz Education. Now, being one of the best and most versatile Moscow Jazz and pop bass players, he participates in various Jazz, rock and pop ensembles, he is main bass player of Alexander F.Skliar Group and of the Irina Bogushevskaya Group. Having performed with such stars of the Russian Jazz scene as Igor Brill Ensemble, Garanyan Orchestra and Jazz Dance Orchestra, he has also participated in all the most notable Jazz festivals in Russia. Within different groups he has performed on various Jazz stages around the world; United States, United Kingdom, Germany and many other countries.
Andreas Stephanou is one of Cyprus’ most renowned musical talents of a new generation of Jazz musicians, travelling extensively to perform with celebrated artists including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitas and Anna Ellis de Jong. He graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory.
The Caprice’s cool Italian styled interior, flanked by the tranquil blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, is the perfect backdrop for the easy melodies of vibrant Jazz sounds brilliantly performed by talented musicians.
