Look what Easter is bringing… fine food, stunning views, smooth live music; Jazzy Brunch is back at Londa’s Caprice Restaurant on Catholic Easter Sunday, March 31, with jazz trio Leonid Nesterov on Piano, Andreas Stefanou on drums and Chris Pound on double bass
Making a long-awaited return to the Caprice Restaurant at the Londa Hotel, fine jazz music ensemble the Leonid Nesterov Trio, are back for another Jazz brunch on March 31, the Catholic Easter Sunday.
Popular and accomplished jazz trio, Leonid Nesterov on piano, Andreas Stefanou on drums and Chris Pound on double bass, will once again accompany diners enjoying a delicious Easter Sunday buffet in the Caprice Restaurant’s cool Italian styled interior; set against stunning floor to ceiling picture windows offering views to the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea; the setting is the perfect backdrop for a leisurely and indulgent Easter Sunday lunchtime treat.
The ensemble jazz musicians are well respected virtuoso instrumentalists in their own right. Nesterov began his music career at the tender age of 8 in his home town of Indra, Latvia and regularly performs on the European jazz circuit; Andreas Stefanou, graduate of Rotterdam Conservatory, is one of Cyprus’ most renowned home grown musical talents; one of a new generation of jazz musicians who has travelled Europe extensively, performing with celebrated stars including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitas and Anna Ellis de Jong. Whilst Chris Pound, who began learning the double bass at a very young age, is a native Australian; he has a great following as one of the finest young double bass players currently on the jazz festival circuit, collaborating with such luminaries as The Reuben Lewis Quintet, the Pollen Trio, and the Austin Benjamin Trio. All three performers will bring their unique talent to the Londa for a fine afternoon of classic and contemporary jazz sounds.
