Look what the New Year is bringing… fine food, stunning views, smooth live music; Londa launches its Jazz Brunches 2014 on Sunday, February 2, with Jazz trio Leonid Nesterov on Piano, Andreas Stefanou drums and Nicolas Tryphonos on bass.
Making a long-awaited return to the Caprice Restaurant at the Londa Hotel for another Jazz Brunch on February 2, fine jazz music ensemble the Leonid Nesterov Trio, will kick-off the season from 1.00pm – 3.30pm at €35,00 per person, including a mouth-watering lunchtime buffet.
Popular and accomplished jazz trio, Leonid Nesterov on piano, Andreas Stefanou on drums and Nicolas Tryphonos on bass, will once again accompany diners enjoying a delicious Sunday buffet in the Caprice Restaurant’s cool Italian styled interior; set against stunning floor to ceiling picture windows offering views to the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea; the setting is the perfect backdrop for a leisurely and indulgent Sunday lunchtime treat.
The ensemble jazz musicians are well respected virtuoso instrumentalists in their own right. Leonid Nesterov began his music career at the tender age of 8 in his home town of Indra, Latvia and regularly performs on the European jazz circuit; Andreas Stefanou, graduate of Rotterdam Conservatory, is one of Cyprus’ most renowned home grown musical talents; one of a new generation of jazz musicians who has travelled Europe extensively, performing with celebrated stars including Nelson Faria, Kiko Freitas and Anna Ellis de Jong. Nicolas Tryphonos was born in Limassol and studied electric bass at Nakas Conservatory in Athens, at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and of Utrecht where he graduated in Jazz double bass; he is an active musician in the music scene of Cyprus and the Netherlands.
