Prepping for Birth, Toddler and Beyond: 7th Mums 2 Be & Baby Day at Londa Hotel

Seven is traditionally believed to be a lucky number! So, maternal blessings from mythic Greek goddesses, Hera and Leto, are sure to shower down once again over the 7th Mums 2 Be & Baby Day at Londa on Sunday October 13, 2019 (10:00 — 18:00). Hera, wife of Zeus, was Goddess of women, marriage, family, and childbirth, and Leto, Goddess of motherhood who gave birth to Apollo the Sun God.

As in previous years, this special one day event for pregnant women and new parents — hosted by the online social network, Mums in Cyprus — will be held in Londa’s AΩ Conference Room. A space to perfectly match the lively buzz of exhibitors offering information and advice to expectant mothers on a wide variety of locally available products and services, from fertility, pregnancy and birth to baby’s first year and growing toddler.

Established and eagerly anticipated showcase

Mums in Cyprus have been online since 2010 with now more than 4,200 members drawn from 27 nationalities. Their annual Mums 2 Be & Baby Day is an established and eagerly anticipated showcase for local companies, start-ups and Work at Home Mums (WaHMs). Each are handpicked for being amongst the island’s best, newest or most innovative in their particular area of expertise.

The aim of the show is not only to introduce exclusive products and services, but also impart relevant knowledge and information on all manner of ‘mum and baby’ related topics.

Many fascinating topics to discover

What can visitors expect to experience on the day? There will be many fascinating topics to discover at every stage – from pregnancy to infancy! Here are just a few examples of what exhibitors will be offering.

From the start… many expectant mums will want to prepare in their own way for giving birth and there will be several organisations present offering invaluable insight. Also on hand to answer all your questions about natural pregnancy and experiencing a comfortable labour is Mums 2 Be & Baby Day supporter, Birth Forward Cyprus.

At the moment of birth… thanks to one of the event’s Gold Sponsors ISIS Clinic, the island’s most modern and state-of-the art gynaecology, maternity and fertility centre, you can wisely prepare for all aspects of your baby’s birth, while The Cyprus Breastfeeding Association team will ensure you have all the information to breastfeed successfully.

Onto early baby development. The event’s other Gold Sponsor, MAM Baby, a leading company for baby products with over 40 years’ experience, will showcase their product portfolio. Experts will reveal the “universal language shared by all babies” and how mothers can understand a baby’s needs by listening to the sounds they make.

Also helping parents raise happy and healthy children is an educational development programme designed for children at every stage — from 6 weeks to 6 years. Play Therapy, Baby Bonding Programmes and Parenting Support Service are all key specialist services also represented at the expo.

Browse and purchase all types of baby and toddler clothing

Visitors will once again, have endless opportunities to browse and purchase all types of baby and toddler clothing, and every accessory imaginable. A few brief examples…

Regular expo exhibitors will be displaying their fantastic range of ergonomic, non-slip shoes, and a local Baby and Kids online concept store will offer a variety of beautiful unique products for nursery, toddler and children’s activities.

A beautiful range of handmade, organic products and handmade apparels and accessories for both baby and you are featured alongside a babywearing expert, on hand to help you chose the right baby sling to safely carry your offspring.

Dedicated baby and kids play area

As every year, the Mums 2 Be & Baby Day warmly welcomes the youngest visitors in the expo’s dedicated baby and kids play area. Mum and partner can check out what’s on offer more freely, and perhaps, take a welcome refreshment break at Londa’s Caprice Restaurant and Bar!

Once again, Mums in Cyprus will keep admission free. Instead, visitors will be invited to help support the network’s chosen charitable organisation, the Centre for Preventive Paediatrics — a vital pre-and post-natal medical screening programme offered free of charge to all pregnant women and new-born babies across Cyprus.
